Dr. Gabriel Olowo is a seasoned economist and business administrator with over five decades of experience in the aviation industry, beginning his career with Lufthansa German Airlines in 1973. He has held significant positions, including Deputy General Manager at Varig Brazilian Airline and Executive Director at Bellview Airlines Limited.
As the Chairman of Sabre Network West Africa, Dr. Olowo has been instrumental in advancing aviation technology solutions in the region. He is also the immediate past President of the Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI), reflecting his commitment to enhancing aviation safety standards. In 2022, marking his 70th birthday, he authored and launched the book “Cutting Costs Without Cutting Corners,” addressing challenges in Nigeria’s aviation sector. His contributions have been recognized with accolades, including the Community Service Award from the Ooni of Ife in 2023.
